PERFORMING ARTS CAMP
Triple Threat’s Hollywood coaches will be hosting a summer camp for those who wish to sharpen THREE SKILLS and combine them so they ROCK their auditions. To make sure the talent is up to par, many series regular and feature film auditions require young actors to SING, to DANCE, and, of course, to ACT!
MI’s Performing Arts program is designed to: Educate, Engage and Empower young people.
WHAT IS A TRIPLE THREAT?
A “Triple Threat” is an entertainment industry label for someone who can sing, dance and act. The focus of our program is to help students improve artistic talent and versatility, while strengthening the important life skills needed for leadership in school and within their communities.
At MI, kids and teens come to learn the same discipline it takes to become a master performer. Through expert instruction and empowerment, students also build the necessary confidence to help overcome setbacks and handle rejection.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Students may take one class or enjoy them all. To get the most out of our program and become a well-rounded performer, we strongly suggest our students take classes in voice, dance and acting.
Lessons are designed to connect students with their natural voices, help them articulate, and strengthen and sustain their voices, whether they’re in the classroom or on stage. Students receive support as they work to perfect breath support and ear training.
Our focus will be on musical theatre, which encompasses ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary styles. Through daily warm-ups, exercises, and a series of dance combinations, students will learn proper technique, discipline, strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination.
This summer, students will focus on the dramatic process for stage acting. Through a series of icebreakers, improvisation and theatre games, we encourage creative and critical thinking, clean and effective communication and working collaboratively while embracing one’s personal voice. Actors emerge from the program with more confidence in their capability to learn and a stronger understanding of how to communicate successfully.
